Description

Performs administrative support functions for the TBI & NHTD Medicaid Waiver Program which includes incident investigation, fielding telephone calls, data entry/tracking, and assisting in maintaining participant records and current documentation related to waiver participants.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversees, tracks, monitors, and ensures compliance with the TBI and NHTD incident reporting process
  • Completes incident investigations as needed and reviews all incident reports prior to submission
  • Communicates with external agencies regarding incident reports
  • Assists in identifying trends by participant, employee, branch, or agency
  • Maintains ongoing compliance with waiver regulations to prevent fines, penalties, and unfavorable audits
  • Maintain data entry for spreadsheets pertaining to required recertification of waiver documentation
  • Ensure all participants records are current and accurate
  • Assist in the process of documentation for new hires
  • Screen incoming telephone calls from referrals as needed/requested by supervisor
  • Maintain knowledge of all approved waiver service providers in region covered. Maintain knowledge of Medicaid State Plan and non-Medicaid services.
  • Arrange for and/or Track PRI & Screen and/or UAS annually or more frequently as needed
  • Review finalized service plan documentation and request corrections from SC/RRDC if needed prior to filing/distributing

 

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience preferably in health and human services
  • Bachelors of Arts or Associates Degree/High School Diploma
  • Administrative competency with skills in organization, computer/database, problem solving/decision-making, detail oriented, verbal and written communications
